About Distance Learning & Online Training
This site is designed for the self-learner. It is not required training, but we highly recommend that all New Mexico judges and court staff try it. The trainings in the Classroom and in the Interactive Courtroom are not graded, evaluated or recorded on an individual basis; however, they are tracked as a whole to determine areas of learning that need to be developed. Because the Web courses are designed to be moderated by faculty, a student's progress is followed and evaluated for CJE credit when appropriate. (See individual course description for more information.)

The examples we provide are intended to illustrate some common issues that arise in each area of law. We welcome your suggestions for additional examples. Please come back as often as you like -- we will be updating and adding topics and exercises to this site throughout the year!
