What Information Can Court Staff Provide?

Picture of three clerks in a car.

Three clerks from the same court attending a training conference agree that they will all drive in one car. Later, all three file claims for mileage reimbursement with the Judicial Education Center, even though only one car was used.

Is this ethical conduct? If not, which is?

1. No, all three should drive separate cars.
2. No, all three should drive together but only the driver should file a claim.
3. Yes, as long as none of the three tell anyone that they all filed claims.
