What Information Can Court Staff Provide?

A member of the County Commission, who has many rentals in the area, regularly comes into the Magistrate Court after the office is closed to the public and asks to have his papers processed.

What is the appropriate response?

1. It is okay to do this as long as you have your supervisor's approval.
2. Lock the door so he can't get in.
3. Tell him you may only process his papers during regular office hours.
